Federal
Way The FWARC is presently operating two 2-meter repeaters and one 70cm repeater. The repeaters and Auto-Patches are OPEN TO ALL. No strings attached! It is our feeling that in the spirit of Amateur Radio and just being nice, that resources should be shared. If you enjoy these machines and would like to help shape and make our club grow, please consider joining the FWARC. We always welcome new members and ideas. To join or not is up to you. The club’s primary 2-meter repeater is on frequency146.76-, with a PL tone of 103.5 and offers an open autopatch (Tacoma/Waverly exchange-covers Federal Way, Puyallup, and some Tacoma. More about this at the end). It provides quality coverage for the Federal Way area and surrounding communities. The club's secondary 2-meter repeater operates on 147.04+, with a PL tone of 103.5 and has a similar coverage as the 146.76 repeater. The club also operates a 70 cm repeater on 442.95+, with a PL tone of 103.5. This repeater was donated to the club by Jim Zanella KA7GZR. Thank you Jim for your support. Should you have specific needs for technical or operational information, we invite you to contact David Swartz, KC7RRH, our UHF/VHF coordinator at Dave.Swartz@fwarc.org.
